The TOURNAMENT banner was busy during the Winter months of 2015!

You may have seen our banner at information booths at several events, conferences, and seminars throughout the mid-Atlantic region in the last few months.

Jeff Dent, Director of Tournament of Bands, greeted visitors at state music conferences in Maryland, Pennsylvania and West Virginia.  TOB administrators also provided opportunities for participants at other conferences in additional northeastern states.

For those interested in additional information concerning any of TOURNAMENT's offerings, look over our website for all the information you will need to get started!

For additional information concerning marching band, email Jeff Dent.

Contact Donna Stout, Tournament Indoor Director, for details concerning winter guard, percussion ensembles, twirling, dance, and jazz band.

Dr. Pierce Sanute, Director of Education, can provide you with additional details for those interested in becoming adjudicators with the National Judges Association.

And THANKS to those of you who visited us at these events!  We hope to see you again soon at one of our hundreds of events!

WINDI

WINDI is the digital system used for all registration, scheduling, scoring, and adjudication files.

TOB

Tournament of Bands provides an opportunity for competitive and exhibition marching bands to perform throughout our nine-state region.  Scholastic marching bands compete from September to November and conclude the season with the A Class and Open Class Atlantic Coast Championships in the Hershey, Pennsylvania, area.

TIA

Tournament Indoor Association provides an opportunity for competitive scholastic and independent units to perform throughout our nine-state region.  Color guards, twirlers, dance teams, and percussion ensembles compete from January to May, during a season-ending Atlantic Coast Championship held annually in Wildwood, New Jersey.  Additionally, jazz bands, concert bands, and other special music ensembles are in attendance at the ACC event.

NJA

National Judges Association provides adjudication for hundreds of events throughout the mid-Atlantic region annually.  Marching band field shows, indoor contests, parades, and jazz contests are among the events where you will see the NJA emblem!  We are always looking for highly-qualified judges.  If you are interested in scheduling judges for your event, or if you would like details concerning how to become a member of NJA, check out related information on our site.
